Incident Summary – Sunday 6th September – Day Shift
Time: 08:26 Location: Mill Lane, Cayton
Crew from Scarborough attended a report of a carbon monoxide detector sounding. Crews and a Hazmat officer used a gas monitor to check the levels within the premises, this was confirmed to be a false alarm and the readings came back as normal.
Time: 08:43 Location: St Peters Court, Whitby
Whitby crew responded to a request from Ambulance to gain entry to a residential premises. No action was required by crews as the casualty did open the door to crews. Incident left with Ambulance.
Time: 09:37 Location: Goathland, Whitby
Whitby crew assisted Ambulance with extricating a casualty from a residential premises. Crews used crew power and a scoop board to assist. Casualty left in the care of Paramedics.
Time: 13:20 Location: Wharfedale, Filey
A crew from Filey responded to a potential gas leak in a residential premises. Crews isolated the gas and ventilated the property prior to the gas board arriving on scene. The gas board identified this to be a gas hob that had been accidentally left on, incident left with gas board and Ambulance.
Time: 13:59 Location: Portholme Road, Selby
Selby crew responded to a report of a member of the public locked in public toilet. Crews used a hooligan tool and crew power to release them from the cubicle.
