Incident Summary – Day Shift 7th November

Time: 08:24  Location: York

Crew from Acomb assisted a care worker to gain entry to a property due to the lock mechanism failing. Crew attended and were able to gain entry using the key, the lock barrel was just a bit stiff.

Time: 08:58  Location: Harrogate

Crew from Harrogate attended a property to assist an occupant who had fallen and could not get back up. Crew power only used to assist occupant back in to a chair.

Time: 16:27   Location: York

Crew from York were mobilised to reports of a fire sighted behind some industrial units. This was found to be a controlled burn under supervision.

Time: 16:47  Location: South Milford

Crew from Tadcaster responded to reports of a large fire sighted in a field. Crew located incident and found this to be a controlled burn under supervision.

Time: 16:54  Location: York

Crew from York and Acomb responded to reports of a fire seen in the ground floor of a property. This was a false alarm caused by a controlled burn in the rear garden.

 

Crews from Bedale and Scarborough also attended automatic fire alarm activations.  After inspection these were found to be false alarms.
