York Minster Training Exercise 30 September

You might see what looks like smoke issuing from the roof of York Minster later this evening. No need to panic, it’s just cosmetic smoke being used as part of a training exercise our fire crews are involved in. The training will take place from around 6pm to 9pm so there will be emergency service vehicles in the area.

Thank you to York Minster for allowing our crews to carry out this exercise. Training like this helps our crews to test their skills and be prepared if an emergency like this were to happen.
