Incident Summary – Thursday Nightshift, 9th April 2025

Time: 22:11    Location: Barrowcliff Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough were requested by police to gain entry for ambulance crews locked outside a property. Crews arrived on scene and prepared to gain entry. However, the occupant, who was thankfully safe and well, gave access to the property. The incident was left with ambulance crews.

Time:  00:15   Location: Bull Lane, York

York were requested by ambulance to gain entry to a property after concerns for the occupant inside. Fire crews inspected the property using a triple exterior ladder and found the occupant safe and well. The occupant then opened the door to allow ambulance crews access.

Crews from Acomb (x2), Scarborough, Whitby and Hawes also responded to activated fire alarms. After inspection, these were all confirmed as false alarms.
