20:09 – Crown Place, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate attended a bin fire near a hotel. The crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire which is believed to have started from discarded vaping materials.

20:42 – A19, Barlby

A crew from Selby responded to a report of a fire in the open. Upon arrival this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. The crew gave advice to the responsible person.

20:57 – Scrayingham

A crew from York assisted with a fuel spillage from a vehicle that had suffered a damaged fuel pipe.

23:05 – Barrowcliff, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough forced entry to a premises due to welfare concerns for a person inside. They used a door enforcer and left the incident with Ambulance and Police.

01:19 – Bootham, York

A crew from York assisted Ambulance by gaining entry to a property due to welfare concerns for a person inside. The crew used small tools and left the incident with the ambulance crew.

Automatic fire alarm activations occurred through the evening with York responding. Both activations were false alarms.
