Incident Summary – Sunday 17th May – Day Shift

Time: 08:22  Location: York

Crew from Acomb responded to an activation from a lift within a residential premises. On arrival no persons were trapped in the lift so no action was required.

Time: 09:43  Location: The Green, Green Hammerton

Crews from Acomb and York responded to a tractor fire within a field, crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish. The tractor was 100% fire damaged with the cause believed to be electrical. Incident left with respsonsible person on site.

Time: 14:33  Location: Rawcliffe Ings, York

Crews from York and Acomb responded to a mud rescue incident where one member of the public and their dog had become trapped on the riverbank. Throwlines used to rescue them and confirmed no injuries to either party.

Time: 14:50  Location: Strensall, York

Crew from Huntington responded to a report of fire in the back garden of a residential premises, this was a false alarm of controlled burning with responsible persons in attendance.
