Time: 17:29 Location: Otley Road, Harrogate
Harrogate crew responded to an elderly wheelchair patient that was unable to access their premises due to the residential lift being out of order. Crews used crew power and lift straps to carry the patient up the stairwell and safely into their premises.
Time: 21:56 Location: Castley Lane, Leathley
Crews from Tadcaster and Harrogate responded to a cow stuck within a dike. Crews made a extrication plan and set up lighting. Lines, strops and animal rescue equipment used to turn and lift the cow safely onto land. The cow was uninjured and left with the owner.
Time: 02:14 Location: Blenheim Terrace, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of an orange glow seen from a multiple residency premises, this was confirmed to be a false alarm caused by a reflection in the window from emergency lighting.
Time: 03:15 Location: Endican Lane, Thorton Le Moor
Thirsk Crew responded to a report of a fire seen from the roadside, crews located a fire within a field consisting of 3 caravans. Crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish, the cause is yet to be determined.
Crews from Boroughbridge and York responded to reports of automatic fire alarms, these were confirmed to be false alarms.
