Time: 09.09    Location: Aldborough

Crews from Knaresborough alongside Ripon and Richmond swift water rescue responded to reports of two dogs stuck in the river, on arrival the dogs were found in the drainage ditch. Crews used a triple extension ladder and crew power to safely rescue the dogs and reunite them with the owners safe and well.

Time: 11.08   Location: Pannett Way, Whitby

Whitby crew responded to a fire alarm sounding in a residential property, after investigation this was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Advice was given to the responsible person present.

Time: 12.33   Location: Nursery Drive, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a request to assist ambulance with extrication of a patient from the first floor into an Ambulance. Crews used spinal board to transport the casualty to the Ambulance.

Time: 12.35   Location: Drome Road, Copmanthorpe

A crew from York responded to a request to assist carers to gain entry to a property where the occupant had fallen and was unable to open the door. Crews gained entry and assessed the occupant who was uninjured.

Time: 13.13   Location:  Castle Howard Road, Malton

A crew from Malton attended a report of an Automatic Fire alarm in a residential premises.  This was found to be a false alarm due to a faulty sensor.  The responsible person was contacting an engineer to attend.

Time: 14.14   Location: Sandybed Lane, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough and Filey responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm activation in a residential property with the care company unable to contact the occupant.  After inspection this was found to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

Time: 14.52   Location: Doublegates Close, Ripon

A crew from Ripon responded to a report of a fire in a woodland.  Crews found the fire to be out on arrival.  Crews used a knapsack sprayer to dampen down the area.

Time: 15.16   Location: West Tanfield

Ripon crew responded to assist paramedics extricate a casualty, crews used ambulance equipment to safely move the casualty into the ambulance. The casualty was transported to hospital for further treatment.
