Incident Summary – Day Shift – 4th June 2026

08:22 – Main Street, Little Ouseburn

Ripon and Knaresborough crews were mobilised to a two vehicle road traffic collision to assist ambulance. On crews arrival, all persons were out of their vehicles and in hands of ambulance staff. Crews used crew power to make the scene safe and left the incident with paramedics.

12:07 – Chilvers Court, Brayton

Selby’s appliance responded to automatic fire alarms sounding in a residential property. After investigation this was found to be a false alarm. Crews assisted the occupier with fixing alarms.

12:23 – Doncaster Road, Selby

Selby attended a residential property with fire alarms sounding, this was found to be a false alarm.

13:01 – Sandgate, Whitby

Whitby’s appliance was mobilised to persons trapped inside the bedroom of their property, crews released them by using small tools and a hoolie tool.

13:55 – Coggan Close, York

York’s appliance responded to a fire alarm sounding at a residential property, this was found to be a false alarm.

16:12 – Wiggington Road, York

Crews from Acomb and York responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial property, this was found to be a false alarm.
