Time: 17.53  Location:  Coniston Drive, York

A crew from York responded to a report of a fire to some bushes on a public right of way. On arrival of the crew 2 small fires were found and extinguished using 1 Hose Reel Jet.

Time: 18.35  Location:  Oxford Street, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of a fire in a litter bin on the street.  On arrival of the crews the fire had been extinguished by a member of the public using a container of water.

Time: 18.46  Location:  Main Street, Heslington

A crew from York responded to a request to gain entry to a property for Ambulance due to concerns for the occupant.  Crews gained entry to the property and left the incident in the hands of Ambulance.

Time: 18.58  Location:  Station Road, York

Crews from Acomb and Tadcaster responded to a report of a person who had fallen onto a railway track.  On arrival of the crews the person was off the track and receiving first aid to a minor injury.

Time: 19.58  Location:  Cayton Bay, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a request to assist ambulance with a difficult extrication of a casualty.  Crews used crew power to lift the casualty into an Ambulance.

Time: 21.03  Location:  St Nicholas Avenue, York

A crew from York responded to release two persons who had become locked into a car.  Crews used small tools to release the occupants.

Time: 23.07  Location: Lawrence Street, York

A crew from York responded to a request to assist Police to look for an item that was believed to be thrown onto a roof.  Crews assisted the search using a 9m ladder and lighting.

Time: 02.25  Location: Marlborough Street, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of flooding in a street.  Crews located the stop tap and isolated the water supply.

Time: 02.57  Location: Acomb Road, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a request to assist Ambulance gain access to a premises due to concerns for the occupant.  On arrival of the crew access had been gained and no Fire Service action was required.

Time: 05.00  Location:  Castle Street, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report from Police that smoke was seen.  On arrival crews found a small camp fire. Crews extinguished the fire and gave advice.

Crews from York, Scarborough (x3) and Acomb also attended reports of automatic fire alarm activations.  After inspection these were found to be false alarms.
