A crew from Knaresborough responded to reports of a fire in the garden. This was a lit chimnea, under supervision.

Time: 09:13  Location: Scate Moor Lane, Knaresborough

A crew from Knaresborough responded to reports of a fire in a field. This was a controleld burn under supervision.

Time: 09:17  Location: Sutton Way, York

A crew from Acomb responded to reports of youths setting a fire in a field. This was a small fire measuring approximately 1m by 1m, consisting of pallet wood and logs. Crews extinguished using 2 backpack sprayers and small tools. The cause was believed to be deliberate. Police were informed of this incident.

Time: 10:01 Location: Winston Court, Norton

A crew from Malton responded to reports of a fire in a communal garden. Crews extinguished the fire using a bucket of water.

Time: 11:17  Location: Faceby

Crews from Northallerton and Thirsk responded to reports of a vehicle on fire in an industrial unit, measuring approximately 45m by 35m, containing multiple other vehicles. The fire caused 75% fire damage to the vehicle and slight smoke damage to the roof of the building. All persons were out on arrival of the fire service, with one person taken to hospital via road ambulance.  Crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.

A crew from Helmsley responded to reports of a fire  in the open. This was a false alarm, and was a controlled burn under supervision.

A crew from Danby responded to reports of a campfire in woodland measuring approximately 1m by 1m. Crews extinguished the fire and dampened down the area using knapsack sprayers and hand tools.

Time: 13:40 Location: Bedale

A crew from Bedale responded to reports of an emergency activation in a lift. This was a false alarm with good intent, on inspection, no persons were present in the lift.

A person self presented on station requiring a ring to be removed from their finger.

Time: 14:16 Location: Flaxley Road, Selby

Crews from Selby responded to reports of a fire alarm activation at a residential premises with no response. This was found to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

Time: 15:27 Location: The Stonebow, York 

A crew from York responded to a fire to a bin. Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.
