Incident Summary – Night Shift 21st June

Time: 18:53      Location: Port Mulgrave 

Lythe, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay Crews were mobilised to a small fire in the open. On arrival arrival fire had spread. Crews used a Light Portable Pump and 2 Main Jets. Believed to be a controlled burn.

Time:  19:03     Location: Scarborough

Scarborough Crews were mobilised to a 2 vehicle Road Traffic Collision. The crews evacuated all persons out the vehicle and left them in the care of the paramedics.

Time:    19:04   Location: Richmond 

Richmond Crews were mobilised to an Automatic Fire Alarm in a commercial building. On arrival it was found to be a false alarm. System was reset and left with the responsible person.

Time:    20:10   Location: Snaizeholme 

Hawes attended an Automatic Fire Alarm at a commercial building. Upon arrival was found to be a false alarm.

Time:     21:45   Location: York

York crews were mobilised to an Automatic Fire Alarm. On arrival it was a small fire within a residential building that was out on arrival. Crews used metal bucket thermal imaging camera and a Breathing Apparatus cylinder to help with ventilation.

Time:     22:14   Location: Hole of Horcum 

Pickering Crews were mobilised to a fire in the open. Upon arrival it was found to be a false alarm.

Time:   23:05  Location: Eastfield

Crews were mobilised to a fire in the open after carrying out an inspection of the area was found to be a false alarm.

Time:   23:08    Location: Scarborough 

Scarborough crews Were mobilised to a fire in the open. On arrival crews extinguished the fire using a Hose Reel Jet. Advice was given and left with the responsible person on scene.

Scarborough Crews were mobilised to a fire in the open. Fire was out on arrival. Advice was given and left with responsible person.

Time:   23:35   Location: Dunnington 

Acomb and York Crews were mobilised to a fire in a building. Upon arrival there was no sign of fire. Advice was given and left with the responsible person.

Skipton crews were mobilised to a fire alarm in a residential building. Upon arrival a small fire was extinguished. a Positive Pressure Ventilation was used to clear any smoke.

York and Acomb crews were mobilised to a fire in a residential property. Upon arrival was found to be a false alarm. Advice was given and left with responsible person.

York crews were mobilised to an Automatic Fire Alarm sounding. Upon arrival was found to be a false alarm. System reset and advice given.
