Time: 19:22  Location: Galphay

A crew from Ripon responded to a agricultural machine which was on fire. The fire was out on arrival and crews dampened down the machinery and surrounding area with a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.

Time: 19:57  Location: Northfield Close, Stokesley

A crew from Stokesley responded to a person who needed assistance to be moved to a safe position within their property. Crew power was used.

Time: 20:54  Location: Oxen Lane, Cliffe

A crew from Selby responded to reports of a kitchen fire. This was a fire in an oven, out on arrival of crews.

Time: 21:54  Location: Clifton Street, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to rubbish bags on fire. This was extinguished using a domestic hose pipe. Cause believed deliberate.

Time: 22:37  Location: Elm Green, Helmsley

A crew from Kirbymoorside responded to a report of a fire in a garden. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. Advice was given.

Time: 00:05  Location: Grosvner Crescent, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough responded to a report of a person stuck on a fire escape. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm with good intent.

Time: 00:24  Location: Cornlands Road, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a request from the Police to gain entry on behalf of the Ambulance service to a property over concerns for the occupier. Crew power was used to gain entry and the occupant was left in the care of paramedics.

Time: 02:53  Location: Scarcroft Road, York

A crew from Huntington responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out on arrival and crews made the scene safe.

Time: 03:31 Location: Eggborough

A crew from Tadcaster responded to a fire sighted from the M62. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish an unnattended bonfire measuring 8m by 8m.

 

Crews from York, Harrogate, Scarborough and Acomb attended fire alarm activations. On arrival, after investigation, these were all confirmed as false alarms.
