Time: 18:19 Location: Wigglesworth
A crew from Skipton alongside an appliance from Lancashire Fire and Rescue service responded to a tractor and agricultural mower which were well alight. Crews used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
Time: 18:33 Location: Strensall, York
A crew from York responded to a fire sighted in the open. Crews used knapsack sprayers to extinguish two seats of fire. Cause believed deliberate.
Time: 19:07 Location: A1 Leeming Bar
Crews from Northallerton and Richmond responded to a vehicle fire. Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and the vehicle was left with a responsible person awaiting recovery.

A crew from Acomb responded to flooding inside a residential property. Crews isolated the electrics only.
Time: 19:56 Location: Bond End, Knaresborough
A crew from Knaresborough responded to a fire in the open. This was found to be a disposable BBQ and crews extinguished.

A crew from Stokesley responded to help move a person who had become stuck on their chair lift, when it had failed. Crews used crew power only to move the person to a safe place.

A crew from York responded to a report of a BBQ being used on a bench. Crews moved this to a safe location and advice was given to the responsible people.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a person stuck in a lift. Crews used a lift key to release the person who was unharmed.

A crew from Acomb responded to a fire sighted in the open. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. Advice was given.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a smell of burning outside. Crews carried out a thorough search of the area and no fire or smell of burning was located.
Time: 23:28 Location: Angram Road, Long Marston
A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a oak tree which had partially collapsed with a large branch hanging over a property. On arrival of crews the branch had come to rest in the garden causing no damage. The area was cordoned off with an exclusion zone put in place and is to be handed over to the council in daylight hours.

A crew from York responded to a report of a cat which had been stuck inside the roof of a building for approximately 24 hours. Crews used a triple extension ladder to gain access to where the cat was however it ran away through a gap as the crew approached. On site staff advised they would check if the cat returned tomorrow and contact the RSPCA.

Crews from Selby, York and an appliance from Humberside fire and rescue service responded to reports of a flat fire above a commercial premises. Crews used two hose reel jets, four breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and ventilate the property.

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a barrel connected to pressurised gas which was potentially leaking. On arrival, after investigation this was found to be a false alarm with good intent.
Crews from Thirsk, York (x3), Scarborough, Acomb, Huntington, Harrogate, Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside and Tadcaster attended fire alarm activations. On arrival, after investigation, these were all confirmed as false alarms.
