A crew from Whitby responded to an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises. After inspection this was found to be a false alarm caused by faulty equipment.
Time: 08.44 Location: Allhallowgate, Ripon
A crew from Ripon responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm sounding. After inspection this was found to be a false alarm believed to be caused by dust in a detector head.

A crew from Whitby responded to a report of a hissing noise coming from an empty residential premises.
Time: 09.13 Location: Bondgate, Ripon
A crew from Ripon responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential premises. This was found to be a false alarm caused by dust from workmen.

A Crew from Harrogate responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. After inspection the cause was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a tile that was loose and dangerously hanging from the side of a roof of a property. Crews cordened off a safe area below and used a 9m ladder to remove the tile.

Crews from Harrogate responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm activation. This was found to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Crews from Scarborough responded to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision where a car had rolled into a residential property and trapped the driver inside. Crews used crew power to move the car and the occupant was able to self extricate.

A crew from Whitby responded to a request to assist Ambulance with the extrication of a casualty from a property into an Ambulance.
Time: 16.31 Location: Water Lane, York
A crew from Acomb responded to a report of smoke sighted in the area. On arrival of the crews the fire was found to be controlled burning under supervision. No Fire Service action required.
Time: 16.44 Location: Badger Lane, Northallerton
A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of a person becoming locked out of a premises where a person in their care was locked inside. Crews gained access to the premises using small tools.
