Time: 17.37     Location: Water End, York 

Acomb crew responded to reports of a fire in a field unattended, on arrival crews found a small fire consisting of paper and cardboard. Crews used a bucket of water to extinguish, cause is believed deliberate.

Time: 17.51     Location: Harrogate 

A crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a bin fire in the street. On fire crew arrival there was a bin smoking, a member of the public had used a fire extinguisher prior to fire service arrival, fire crews used a bucket of water to dampen down and ensured the fire was out.

Time: 18.08     Location: Low Street, Sherburn In Elmet 

A crew from Tadcaster responded to a fire in the open consisting of plastics and aerosols, the fire was out on crew arrival, cause believed to be deliberate.

Time: 18.18    Location: York

York crew responded to reports of a fire in a field, on arrival the fire was out. Crews used one hose reel jet to dampen down and ensure the fire was extinguished. Cause believed to be deliberate.

Time: 18.57     Location: Sherburn In Elmet 

Tadcaster crew attended a fire in a field, the fire consisted of tree branches and aerosols. Fire crews used knapsack sprayers to extinguish the fire, cause believed to be deliberate. Police were informed and attended this incident.

Time: 20.18     Location: New Lane, Sherburn In Elmet

Tadcaster crew responded to a fire in a field unattended, the fire measured approximately 8m x 5m consisted of straw from old bale, crews used knapsack sprayers to extinguish. Crews will revisit this incident in daylight hours to ensure there is no risk.

Time: 21:59     Location: Walmgate, York

York crew attended a fire seen in the open, 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish the fire.

Time: 05.17     Location: Swainby 

A crew from Stokesley responded to reports of metal sheeting from scaffolding loose on a roof and a risk to the footpaths below it. Crews removed the scaffolding and stored it in a safe location. Advice was given to the responsible person present.

Crews from Selby, Harrogate and Scarborough responded to automatic fire alarm activations, after investigation these were found to be false alarms. Advice was given to the responsible person present.
