Crew from Stokesley attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises. This was confirmed to be a false alarm.
Time: 12:13 Location: A63, Thorpe Willoughby
Tadcaster crew attended reports of a hedge row on fire in a layby to the side of the A63. Crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, this was believed to have been caused by a dropped cigarette.
Time: 12:40 Location: Fairfax Court, York
York and Acomb crew attended a report of an automatic fire alarm within a residential premises with no response from occupier. This was confirmed to be a false alarm caused by cleaning fumes.
Time: 14:16 Location: A1237, Haxby
A crew from York attended a report of a fire seen to the side of the road, this was confirmed to be a deliberate fire of a bush that was set alight by youths. 1 knapsack sprayer used to extinguish.
Time: 13:50 Location: Scalby Road, Scarborough
Scarborough crew attended a residential property to assist ambulance with gaining entry. Crews used a gain kit to enter via the front door and left the casualty in the care of Paramedics.

Crews from Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough attended a fire on the moors measuring 20m x 5m. Crews used extended hose reel and knapsacks to extinguish the fire .

A crew from Acomb attended a fire in the garden of a premises, this was a burn consisting of garden waste with responsible persons on site however due to the size of the fire, crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish and advice given.
