17:13, Institute Street, Glusburn
Crews from Skipton and Grassington, alongside West Yorkshire crews from Keighley and Silsden, responded to reports of a tea towel on fire in a residential property. The fire was out on arrival. Crews inspected only.
18:50, Low Ousegate, York
Crews from York and Acomb, alongside a specialist water rescue team from Selby, responded to reports of a potential water rescue. On arrival, this was confirmed to be a false alarm, with good intent, no persons were in danger.
19:42, Haugh Lane, Hambleton
A crew from Selby responded to reports of a fire sighted in the open. A thorough search of the area was carried out and no fire was found.
20:49, Dragon Parade, Harrogate
Harrogate crew responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision. Both occupants were out on arrival and crews carried out scene safety.
21:04, Hillam
A crew from Selby attended a fire in the open consisting of trees and shrubbery. Crews used one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire and dampen down the area.
21:32, Hutton Rudby
A crew from Stokesley attended a report of a patch of suspected diesel on a driveway which was getting bigger. On arrival, after investigation this was found to be oil from a leaking oil tank at a different property which had spread. Crews isolated the tank and used an environmental pack to soak up the oil. Advice was given to the residents of both properties.
Crews from Northallerton, Filey, York and Harrogate responded to reports of fire alarm activations. These were all investigated and confirmed to be false alarms.
