Time: 09:04 Location: Embsay, Skipton area
Skipton crew attended a domestic property to assist in releasing a resident from inside, due to a defective lock mechanism on the door. Crews were able to access a key safe and open/unlock the door from the outside, without the need for any forced entry. Resident unharmed. Advice given.
Time: 10:10 Location: Stonegate, Hunmanby, Filey area
Scarborough, Malton and Bridlington from Humberside fire and rescue, attended a residential area following a report of a fire inside a building. All persons out on arrival of the fire service, and safe. The fire was located at the rear of the building and crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish. Crews then ventilated the building to clear smoke logging.

Acomb and York attended a domestic property following a report of a fire inside. Crews located the fire on the ground floor. All persons out on arrival of fire service crews, one person administered oxygen for smoke inhalation. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews then ventilated the building to clear smoke logging. Advice given.

Scarborough crew assisted one child from a bedroom, due to defective lock. Small tools used to gain access. Child reunited with parents. Advice given.
Time: 13:35 Location: Skeldergate, York
York’s appliance was mobilised to a residential property with an automatic fire alarm sounding. This was found to be a false alarm.
Time: 14:25 Location: Chapel Street, Thirsk
A crew from Northallerton were mobilised to an incident involving flooding in a residential property. Crews isolated the water using crew power and left the incident with a responsible person.
Time: 14:38 Location: Pembroke Street, York
York and Acomb’s appliances were mobilised to a residential fire that started in the garden of the property. The fire did not spread inside the property. Crews extinguished the fire using one breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and shovels.
Time: 15:24 Location: Ousegate, Selby
Whilst in the local area, Selby’s crew witnessed a road traffic collision. Crews assisted with scene safety using small tools and a brush to clear the carriage way, the incident was then left with police.
