Time: 17.48  Location:  Coldyhill Lane, Newby

A Crew from Scarborough responded to a request from Ambulance to assist with moving a casualty from their location to an awaiting Ambulance.

Time: 18.38  Location:  Main Street, cross Hills

A crew from Skipton responded to reports of a fire to a diesel vehicle.  Crews used 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the vehicle.

Time: 18.40  Location:  Merchants Row, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a bin on fire on a street.  On arrival the crew found the bin smoldering and used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Time: 19.25  Location:  Westborough, Scarborough

2 crews from Scarborough and Robin Hoods Bay responded to a report of a smell of smoke in a residential premises. After a thorough inspection no fire was found.

Time: 20.37  Location: Clifton Backies, York

A crew from York responded to a report of a fire to a bin.  Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet.

Time: 20.55  Location:  Quaker Wood, Acomb

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a fire in a wood.  Crews used a knapsack sprayer to extinguish the fire and the incident was reported to Police as the cause was deliberate.

Time: 21.23  Location: Millennium Green

A crew from York responded to a report of a fire in some scrub land.  Crews extinguished the fire using knapsack sprayer and this was reported due to Police due to the cause being deliberate.

Time:  22:35  Location: Mulgrave Place, Scarborough

Scarborough crew attended a fire sighted in the open, this was confirmed to be a small camp fire. Fire was extinguished using a knapsack sprayer and advice given to persons present.

Time: 23:06  Location: Oakfield Avenue, Goathland

Whitby and Goathland crew attended a residential property to assist Ambulance with removing a casualty onto the Ambulance. Crew power used and casualty left in the care of Paramedics.

Time: 23:10  Location: Newlands Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough attended a fire sighted in the open near to a residential property. This was confirmed to be a controlled bonfire with responsible person in attendance, advice given by crews.

Time: 00:00  Location: Otley Road, Harrogate

Harrogate crew attended a report of a electrical meter that had blown and caught fire on the side of a multi residency premises. Crews used dry powder extinguishers and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire, crews assisted with evacuating the building and incident left with Northern Power Grid.

Time: 00:08  Location: St Nicolas Cliff, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough attended persons trapped in a lift. Lift keys used to bring the casualties back down to safety. Incident left with responsible persons on site to arrange an engineer.

Time: 00.33  Location: Hull Road, Wilberfoss

A crew from Huntington and the water bowser from Tadcaster responded to assist our colleagues in Humberside FRS with a Make Pumps 4 at a holiday park in their area.

Time: 03.34  Location: Coniston Road, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a request for assistance from Ambulance to assist with extrication of a casualty from the first floor to the road Ambulance.

Crews from York, Harrogate, Reeth, Richmond and Selby also attended reports of automatic fire alarm activations.  These were found to be false alarms.
