Time: 18.38 Location: Echo Hill, Whitby
Whitby crews responded to reports of youths setting fire, on arrival the fire was out. Crew gave advice to the youths on scene.
Time: 21.09 Location: Carlton Road, Thirsk
A crew from Thirsk responded to reports of a fire sighted, crews located the fire and found it be a controlled burn unsupervised. As the fire was almost out and there was little risk of it spreading, no fire service action was taken.
Time: 22.14 Location: Hudson Crescent, York
A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a tree on fire in a gardening, on arrival crews found a garden fire measuring approximately 05 m by 05 m that had spread to the surrounding trees and fence. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish.
Time: 22.42 Location: Cross Street, Scarborough
Scarborough crew responded to reports of a fire on a balcony and occupants still in the house. On crew arrival the fire was out, crews used a thermal imaging camera to ensure there was no risk associated with it. Crews gave advice to the individuals present. Police and ambulance were also on scene.
Time: 23.01 Location: Cheltenham Crescent
A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival this was found to be a burglar alarm sounding.
Time: 01.57 Location: Alexandra Court, York
A Crew from York attended a report of an automatic fire alarm sounding in a property. Crews were unable to access the property but completed a thorough inspection from outside the premises and found this to be a false alarm but the cause is unknown.
