Time: 09.02 Location: Westborough, Scarborough
Crews from Scarborough responded to a bin fire, crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish.
Time: 09.07 Location: Tadcaster
Crews from Tadcaster responded to reports of a van smoking, on arrival there was no sign of fire but crews checked the vehicle with a thermal imaging camera, hotspots were identified and crews used a hose reel jet to fully cool.
Time: 09.10 Location: Westborough, Scarborough
Scarborough crew responded to reports of an individual trapped in a bathroom after the lock mechanism failed. On fire crew arrival the individual was already released, no fire service action required.
Time: 10.12 Location: Valley Road, Northallerton
Northallerton crews responded to a fire alarm activation with no response from the occupant, on fire crew arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Crews gave advice.
Time: 11.34 Location: Selby Road, Eggborough
Selby crew responded to reports of a fire in a field, this was found to be a false alarm due to controlled burning. Crews gave advice to the responsible person present.
Time: 13.50 Location: Ellerburn Road, Thornton le Dale
Malton crew responded one building measuring 20 X 20 feet on fire. On fire crew arrival the fire was out, crews used two hose reel jets to dampen down. Crews monitored the incident with a thermal imaging camera and provided advice to the responsible person present.
Time: 16.05 Location: Felixkirk
Crews from Thirsk and Helmsley responded to a telehandler on fire, crews were using two breathing apparatuses and one hose reel jet. This incident is ongoing at the time of publishing.
