Time: 08:02  Location: Upgang Lane, Whitby

Crew from Whitby responded to a person trapped within a lift. Crews rescued the casualty and secured the lift until an engineer could respond.

Time: 08:47  Location: Cayton

A crew from Scarborough responded to a vehicle fire. 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish and vehicle left in the care of the owner for recovery.

Time: 09:55  Location: York Road, Barlby 

Crew from Selby responded to a fire seen in the open, this was confirmed to be a controlled burn with responsible person in attendance. Advice given.

Time: 10:07  Location: Shambles, York

Crews from York and Acomb responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm, this was confirmed to be a false alarm caused by accidental activation of a manual call point.

Time: 10:45  Location: Sleights, Whitby

A crew from Whitby responded to a fire seen in the open. This was confirmed to be controlled burn with responsible person in attendance. Advice given.

Time: 10:52   Location: Oakdale Road, York

Crews from York and Acomb responded to a fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises, this was confirmed to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

Time: 13:17 Location: Broughton Road, Skipton 

A crew from Skipton responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a faulty detector head.

Time: 13:32  Location: James Street, York 

A crew from York responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Time: 13:53 Location: Colne Road, Glusburn 

A crew from Skipton responded to a report of a person stuck in a lift. Crews released 1 person from the lift using lift keys.

Time: 13:54  Location: Ingleton

Crews from Bentham and over the border appliance Hornby responded to a report of a fire within a shed. On arrival of crews, the fire had been extinguished. Crews dampened down the area and left the incident with the owner.

Time: 15:43 Location: Crosby Road, Northallerton

A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of a vehicle fire. Crews extinguished a fire to a flatbed truck that resulted in 100% fire damage to the engine compartment. Crews dampened and cooled the vehicle down so it was safe to be recovered. The incident was left in the hands of the police.

Time: 16:01 Location: Henwick Hall Lane, Burn 

A crew from Selby responded to a report of smoke seen in the open. Crews confirmed this to be caused by a controlled burn that was under supervision. Advice was given to a responsible person.

Time: 16:11 Location: Scarborough Road, Seamer 

A crew from Scarborough responded to a request from ambulance crews to gain entry to a property where the occupant had fallen. Crews gained access to the property and assisted paramedics to transfer the casualty to the ambulance to be transported to hospital.
