11:06 – Main Street, Oswaldkirk

Helmsley’s crew attended a residential property with an automatic fire alarm sounding, after investigating, this was found to be a false alarm due to steam from shower.

12:35 – Main Street, Hemingbrough

Selby’s appliance was requested to assist paramedics with the difficult extrication of a patient from their property. Crews used an evac chair and crew power to transport the casualty into the road ambulance where they were then taken to hospital.

13:02 – Gowerdale Wood

Crews from Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Northallerton, Stokesley and the water bowser, from Boroughbridge, were mobilised to an incident involving a fire in the open. This incident is still ongoing.

13:10 – Beckwith Head Road, Harrogate

Harrogate’s second appliance attended a residential property with an automatic fire alarm sounding.This was found to be a false alarm.

13:48 – Pottergate, Helmsley

Malton’s crew responded to a report of persons trapped in a lift. Crews used a lift key to reset the lift and lowered it back to the ground floor. The person was release with no injuries.

14:16 – Brompton Road, Northallerton

Northallerton’s second appliance were requested by police to assist with scene safety following a single vehicle colliding with a building. Crews administered first aid and assess the building before handing over to a structural engineer. The incident was left with police.

14:18 – Main Street, Harome

Malton’s appliance responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises, this was found to be a false alarm due to a system check.

15:13 – A64, Scagglethorpe

Sherburn and York’s pumps were mobilised to a large vehicle fire on the A64. Crews used one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus to extinguish and dampen down. The incident was left with police.
