Incident Summary – Day Shift 1st June
Time: 10.06 Location: Belvedere Road, Scarborough
Crews from Scarborough and Sherburn responded to a report of a fire to an oven in a residential property. Crews extinguished the fire and naturally ventilated the property.
Time: 10.48 Location: Oliver Lane, Great Habton
Crews from Malton and Pickering responded to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision. Crews used cutting gear and crew power to extricate one person from the vehicle and left them in the hands of Ambulance.
Time: 11.09 Location: Crown Crescent, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a fire in a street. Crews located a fire measuring 3m x 2m in the garden of a property unattended. Crews used 1 Hose Reel Jet to extinguish the fire and a Thermal Imaging Camera to ensure the fire had not spread.

Crews from Skipton and Barnoldswick (North West FRS) responded to a three vehicle road traffic collision. Crews extricated one person from a vehicle using cutters and spreaders and left them in the hands of Paramedics.
Time: 13.25 Location: Sandacre Court, York
A crew from Acomb responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm in a residential property. On inspection the crews found a small fire to the top of the hob of the oven. Crews gained entry to the premises via a window and extinguished it using a bucket of water.
Time: 14.19 Location: A1 Southbound, Junction 51 – 50.
Crews from Richmond, Northallerton and Ripon responded to reports of a fire to a vehicle on the side of the motorway. Crews extinguished the fire to the under side of the vehicle using 1 Hose Reel Jet and Breathing Apparatus.
Time: 15.46 Location: Parkland Way, Haxby
Crews from Acomb, Huntington and York responded to a report of a fire in the garage of a residential property. On arrival the crew found this to be a fire to a tumble dryer. Crews extinguished the fire using 2 Breathing Apparatus and a Hose Reel jet then checked the fire had not spread any further with the Thermal Imaging Camera.
