Time: 10:34 Location: Balmoral Terrace, York
A crew from York responded to a request from Ambulance to gain entry to a locked premises with a fallen casualty within. Entry gained by fire crew using a door enforcer and casualty left with paramedics.
Time: 11:34 Location: Fernlea Close, Selby
A crew from Selby responded to a request to open locked premises as the caller had concerns for a family member inside. On arrival, no actions required by fire service as all was in order and occupant safe and well.
Time: 12:44 Location: Mount Square, Whitby
A crew from Whitby responded to a request from Whitby Wildlife Trust to rescue a seagull from a third floor balcony. 13.5 metre ladder deployed and as a firefighter approached, the seagull flew away.

A crew from Ripon responded to a request from paramedics to gain entry through an open window to enable paramedics access a potential casualty within. No persons present within.
Time: 14:18 Location: Minskip Road, Boroughbridge
A crew from Ripon responded to a report of smoke sighted in a supermarket car park. This was found to be from an overheated Transit van with low coolant and fresh coolant being administered..
Time: 14:24 Location: Walmgate, York
A crew from Acomb responded to a fire which had occurred in a commercial bin outside a hotel. Fire crew used a domestic hosepipe to ensure the bin was completely extinguished and then requested Police attend to view CCTV footage of the possible person responsible for deliberately starting the fire.
Time: 15:32 Location: Harwood Dale Road, Cloughton
A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire in the open of approx 5x5m comprising refuse and wood. It was attended controlled burning, but due to the responsible person present having insufficient firefighting media, the fire crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish fire.
Time: 15:45 Location: Old Barber, Harrogate
Both crews from Harrogate responded to a kitchen fire in a two storey with attic premises. All persons accounted for. Fire crews extinguished the fire at ground level and ventilated the floor and attic above. Four breathing apparatus and hose reel used. Fire investigation taking place.
Time: 16:06 Location: Station Road, Great Ayton
A crew from Acomb responded to a report of smoke sighted behind a house. Stokesley fire crew attended and confirmed controlled burning in garden with responsible person present.
