Time: 18:08  Location: Harlow Oval, Harrogate 

Crews from Harrogate responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Time: 18:19  Location: Finkle Street, Knaresborough

A crew from Knaresborough responded to a report of a water pipe leaking in a residential property near to a fuse box. Crews isolated the water and gave advice to the occupant.

Time: 19:45  Location: Tockwith Lane, Tockwith 

A crew from Knaresborough responded to a report of an alarm activation in a commercial premises. This was a false alarm due to an unknown cause.

Time: 19:55  Location: Yafforth Road, Northallerton 

A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to an unknown cause.

Time: 20:03  Location: A1 N J56 Barton to J57 A66 Spur

Crews from Reeth and Richmond along with a crew from Darlington responded to a report of a vehicle smoking. Crews found this to be a false alarm due to a blown intercooler.

Time: 20:17  Location: High Street, Skipton

A crew from Skipton responded to a report of an alarm activation in a commercial premises. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Time: 21:40  Location: Trafalgar Square, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough responded to a fire alarm activating in flats which was found to be a fire in a basement flat. Fire crews extinguished the flat – with no occupants present at the time, and ventilated the premises of smoke. Extensive fire damage to the room of origin, the kitchen, with additional heat and smoke damage throughout the premises. Fire investigation will continue tomorrow.

Time: 22:40  Location: Cayton Low Road, Eastfield

Crews from Filey and Sherburn responded to a caravan on fire which had been left at the side of the road. Extensive fire damage to the caravan which was extinguished by use of a hose reel. Cause believed deliberate. Police attended, closed road and are treating the incident as arson.

Time: 23:20  Location: Beaconsfield Street, York

Crews from Acomb and York responded to a camper van on fire in a residential street. Fire crews extinguished the fire with Fire and Police Investigation currently taking place. Extensive fire damage was suffered by the camper van with also fire damage to three other vehicles in the street, and also slight fire damage to the front of two premises in the street.

A crew from Acomb were requested by Ambulance service to assist with additional crew power for a casualty within premises.
