Time: 10:50   Location: Filey Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire alarm activation which was found to be due to a fault on the detection system.

Time: 11:08   Location: Church Lane, Cayton

A crew from Scarborough responded to a request from Ambulance service to assist with the removal of a casualty from their premises to a waiting ambulance. Crew power used.

Time: 11:26   Location: Electric Avenue, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to an alarm activation which was found to be a false alarm with the cause of the activation unknown.

Time: 12:05   Location: Scarborough Road, Rillington

Crews from Malton, Sherburn and Pickering responded to a BBQ fire which spread to the house. Fire crews extinguished the fire which had spread to the house interior, ventilated the heavily smoke logged premises and gave oxygen therapy to the occupier until the arrival of an ambulance. Fire investigation dispatched and investigated.

Time: 12:46   Location: Albert Place, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a request from Police to gain entry to a premises as family had concerns over the occupant. Firefighters gained entry via a first floor window. They remained with Police and family members until an ambulance attended.

Time: 13:50   Location: Milton Avenue, Malton

A crew from York, while on standby at Malton, responded to a request from Ambulance to assist paramedics to move a casualty from premises and into an ambulance.

Time: 14:17   Location: Castle Howard Road, Malton

Crews from York and Pickering responded to an automatic alarm activation with no response from the occupier to the reporting collector station. After investigation, cause of alarm unknown. Occupant on holiday. Advice given to property management.

Time: 14:57   Location: Wigginton Road, York

A crew from Tadcaster responded to an automatic alarm activation in an industrial premises. Cause, after inspection, unknown.

Time: 15:17   Location: Fairfax Court, York

A crew from Acomb responded to an automatic alarm activation in a residential premises which was found to have been caused by cooking.
