Incident Summary – Night shift, Monday 22nd June
Time: 1824 Location: Huntington Road, York
York and Acomb attended a 3 vehicle road traffic collision. All occupants out of vehicle on arrival of fire and rescue crews. No injuries. Crews carried out scene safety and liaised with Police on scene.
Time: 1853 Location: Reighton area
Scarborough crew attended a car fire. Fire out on arrival of fire crew. Crew used one hose reel to cool vehicle. Recovery arranged by vehicle owner.
Time: 1905 Location: A170
Kirkbymoorside and Pickering attended a fire involving an agricultural vehicle. Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and dampen down the area. Police and Highways also attended for traffic management and damage to carriageway. Incident left with vehicle being recovered.

Selby crew assisted Ambulance with crew power at a domestic property.
Time: 1945 Location: Skipton
Skipton crew attended a domestic property following request from Police. Access gained using triple extension ladder. Incident left with responsible persons.
Time: 2011 Location: Wains Road, York
Acomb attended following a report of a smoke alarm sounding at a domestic property. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Tadcaster crew extinguished a small fire involving wooden decking. One hose reel jet used to extinguish.
Time: 2103 Location: Scarborough
Scarborough crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Stokesley extinguished a small fire in the open using backpack sprayers and buckets of water.

A crew from Harrogate assisted with removing a ring from a persons finger using ring cutters.
Time: 0101 Location: Water Lane, York
A crew from Acomb responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. After investigation, this was found to be a false alarm.

Selby’s crew attended an address where a person was stuck in their bedroom after the door handle had failed. The crew used small tools to remove the handle.

A crew from Acomb attended an automatic fire alarm activation. This was confirmed to be a false alarm due to a faulty detector head.

A crew from Scarborough attended an address with flooding inside the property. They used small tools to isolate the water and stop the leak.
