Incident Summary – Day shift, Monday 29th June

Time: 1040      Location: Grape Lane, York

York crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Time: 1047      Location: Woodlands Drive, Scarborough

Scarborough crew attended following a report of an alarm activation. On arrival, crew confirmed a small fire had been extinguished by on site staff. Crew carried out investigations.

Time: 1106      Location: Whitefields Drive, Richmond

Richmond crew attended following a report of an alarm sounding. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Time: 1227      Location: Rufforth area

Acomb crew attended the area following a report of a fire in the open. Crew found a camp fire left unattended. Crew extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet, a backpack sprayer and small tools.

Time: 1235      Location: Skipton Road, Gargrave

Skipton crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Time: 1429      Location: Mossdale Avenue, York

York attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Time: 1516      Location: Station Road, Thirsk

Northallerton crew were sent to assist ambulance paramedics gain entry to a property, however on arrival, were no longer required. Incident left with Ambulance.

Time: 1621      Location: Castleton, Whitby

Danby crew assisted ambulance paramedics in lifting a patient from a property, into road ambulance. Crew power used to assist. Incident then left with Ambulance.
