17:32 Ebor Rise, Harrogate
Crew from Harrogate attended a small campfire in woodland lit by campers. Crews gave advice and extinguished the fire using knapsack sprayers.
17:45 Wigginton Road, York
Acomb crews responded to a report of a fire unattended in a play area. The fire had been extinguished prior to the fire service arrival. No action was required by Fire Service.
18:38 near to Fieldside Place, York
Acomb crew attended a small fire consisting of paper and wood and used a knapsack sprayer to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
20:47 Near to Musham Bank, Crossgates, Scarborough
Scarborough crews responded to a muck heap on fire in a field. Crews extinguished using pitchforks and knapsack sprayers.
20:51 Clifton Backies, Water Lane, York
Acomb crews were mobilised to a reports of a fire in the open. After inspection crews confirmed this was two seperate areas of fire both approx 5sqm. Cause is believed to be deliberate. Crews extinguished using knapsack sprayers and beaters.
20:59 Main Street, Elvington
York crews proceeded to investigate a report of large fire in open grassland. This was confirmed to be a bonfire that was unattended and had spread to a garden shed and other wooden materials in garden. Crews used a hose reel.

Danby crews extinguished a vehicle on fire that had been parked up by the owner.
23:39 Hutton Le Hole
Kirkbymoorside crews responded to investigate a reports of moorland believed to be on fire. After investigation crew confirmed this was a small brazier fire under good supervision. Crew gave advice to the responsible person

Tadcaster crew attended an area of banking by the river, following a report of a fire in the open. Crew confirmed this to be a large bin of waste and glass. One main jet used to extinguish, thermal image camera used to check for hotspots. Local council requested due to bin involved and hazard of glass on riverbank requiring clearing. Police informed.
