Incident Summary – Night Shift 7th September

Time: 19.38  Location: Coggan Close, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a request from police to gain entry to a property where the occupant had become locked inside their living room due to the door mechanism failing.  Crews used a triple extension ladder to gain access to the living room via a second floor window and released the occupant using small tools to remove the door mechanism.

Time: 20.57  Location: St Roberts Grove, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of a person that had become stuck in a lift. Crews released the person using lift keys.

Time: 21.13  Location:  Woodlea Avenue, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a large fire in the garden of a property.  On arrival of the crews this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision of the occupant.

Crews from York also attended automatic fire alarm activations.  After inspection these were found to be false alarms.
