Incident Summary – Night Shift 15th September
Time: 18.29 Location: Harrogate
Harrogate crew responded to reports of an individual who had fallen within their home and were unable to get up. Family were on scene and crews gained entry to the property.
Time: 19.35 Location: Norwood
Two crews from Harrogate responded to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision where the vehicle had left the road and rolled. All occupants were out of the vehicles on arrival of the crews. Crews carried out scene safety and left the incident in the hands of Ambulance and Police crews.
Time: 19.44 Location: Eggborough
Two crews from Selby, 1 from Pontefract (West Yorkshire FRS) and a Water Bowser from Tadcaster responded to a report of a fire to a large stack of straw bales. This incident is ongoing at the time of publishing.
Time: 20.30 Location: Middleham
A crew from Leyburn responded to assist ambulance crews to gain entry to a property with concerns for the occupant. Crews used a 9m ladder to contact the occupant through a window. Occupant was found to be safe and well.
Time: 03.35 Location: Faber Street, York
A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a casualty who had become stuck down the side of the bed. Crews used crew power to lift the person back into bed and left them in the hands of their partner.
Crews from Thirsk, York, Acomb and Bedale also attended automatic fire alarm activations. After inspection these were found to be false alarms.
