10:22 – Yafforth Road, Northallerton

Northallerton’s appliance was mobilised to an incident involving a mound of wood chippings that was smouldering. Crews monitored the area to ensure no further risk.

12:27 – Sherwood Grove, York

York and Acomb’s appliances attended an incident involving a recycling bin that had caught fire outside a residential property. The fire was out on crews arrival and a hose reel and small tools were used by crews to dampen down the area to prevent any further risk.

12:35 – Pannett Way, Whitby

A crew from Whitby attended a residential property with an automatic fire alarm sounding. After an inspection by crews, this was found to be a false alarm due to a power cut.

12:44 – Ryngwoode drive, Malton

Malton’s crew attended an incident involving a casualty that had fallen in their home and required assistance to be lifted back to a safe position. Crews used crew power only and left the incident with a carer.

16:24 – Lock House Lane, Earswick

A crew from Huntington attended an incident involving a fire in the open. Crews used one knapsack sprayer to extinguish the fire and the incident was left with police.

Harrogate’s day crew attended an incident involving a fire at a residential property. The fire was out on arrival, crews used one positive pressure ventilation fan to air out the property and a bucket of water to dampen down the area.

16:34 – Friars Way, Scarborough

Scarborough’s appliance was mobilised to a residential property with an automatic fire alarm sounding. This was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
