Time: 17:23 Location: Near A17,Stoney Marl Moor
Crews from Whitby responded to a reported fire seen in the open. After inspection, this was confirmed as a controlled burn under supervision.
Time: 18:57 Location: A19, Barlby
Selby mobilised to a fire seen in the open from a passerby on the A19. After inspection, crews found this to be one small fire consisting of wood. Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.
Time: 19:19 Location: Amotherby
A crew from Malton responded to a report of fire sighted in the open. After inspection, this was found to be a controlled burn which the responsible person was going to supervise. Advice was given.

A crew from Northallerton responded to reports of a fire sighted in the open. On arrival, this was confirmed to be a controlled burn which was under supervision.
Time: 21:48 Location: Hurgill Road, Richmond
Richmond mobilised to assist an occupant who became trapped in their own bedroom after a malfunction with the bedroom door. Crews were able to use small tools to access and release the occupant safely who had sustained no injuries.
Time: 22:19 Location: Lisvane Avenue, Scarborough
Scarborough mobilised to garden waste being burnt in an incinerator which was left unattended in a garden. Crews were unable to locate any responsible person and the fire was extinguished using a garden hose.

Skipton responded to reports of a fire seen behind a domestic property. After inspection, this was confirmed as a controlled burn under supervision. Advice given.
Time: 23:00 Location: Chruch Street, Whitby
Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay crew responded to a fire initially reported as a moored boat on fire in the harbour with an occupant still on board. On arrival of crews, the occupier was seen safely on his boat burning rubbish in a brazier. Crews used a main jet to extinguish the fire from a distance after the occupant refused to extinguish the fire themselves. The occupier agreed not to use a brazier on their boat going forward and the incident was left with police.

Knaresborough responded to a vehicle that had impacted a hedge. The occupant of the vehicle had self extricated prior to fire crews arrival. Crews administered first aid to the driver who had non life threatening injuries. The incident was left with police after the vehicle was made safe and the driver was transported to hospital via road.

York responded to a burst overflow pipe on a water tank in a residential buildings plant room. Crews reconnected the pipe to stop the leak and gave advice to the occupant who will contact a professional service before further use.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire alarm activation in a residential property. On arrival this was confirmed to be from the accidental activation of a call point.

A crew from Thirsk responded to a report from the police of a fire sighted in the open. This was a fire consisting of rubbish which was unattended. Crews extinguished using one hose reel.
