09:07 – Old Vicarage Farm Road, Marrick

Reeth’s appliance was mobilised to a small fire measuring 1M x 1M. Crews used one knapsack sprayer and one beater to extinguish and dampen down. The incident was left with a responsible person.

09:14 – Village Road, Low Worsall

Northallerton’s crew were requested to attend an incident by ambulance to assist with scene safety following a single vehicle road traffic collision. Crews used shovels to to distribute soil over a fuel spill. The incident was left with paramedics.

10:53 – The Crescent, Northallerton

Both crews from Northallerton were mobilised to an incident involving a fire to a garden shed. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish and a thermal imaging camera to scan for hotspots. The incident was left with the homeowners.

11:23 – St Johns Road, Catterick Garrison

Richmond’s appliance attended an incident involving persons trapped inside a car. Crews used packex and a glass punch to release them with no injuries.

11:26 – West View Cottages, Upsall

Crews from Northallerton and Thirsk were mobilised to a potential fire at a residential property. After using a thermal imagining camera to scan for any hotspots, this was found to be a false alarm due to no fire being present.

12:44 – Cold Bath Road, Harrogate

Harrogate’s second appliance was requested by police to assist with a potential lift rescue. On the arrival of crews, this was found to be a false alarm due to no one being trapped and the lift working as normal.

13:19 – Wistow Road, Selby

Selby’s crew were mobilised to reports of a fire spotted in the open. This was found to be a false alarm due to a controlled burn under supervision.

14:06 – Station Road, Great Ayton

Northallerton’s appliance alongside Guisborough’s appliance were mobilised to reports of a fire in the open. This was found to be a false alarm due to no fire being found at this location.

14:20 – Barrowcliff Road, Scarborough

Scarborough’s pump were mobilised to reports of a shed fire. Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish and dampen down. The incident was left with the home owner.

15:29 – Sudforth Lane, Beal

Selby’s appliance attended an incident involving a fire in the open. This was found to be a false alarm due to controlled burning with a responsible person in attendance.

15:58 – St Stephens Road, York

Acomb’s pump were mobilised to reports of a fire in the open. Crews extinguished the fire and dampened down the area using one hose reel jet.

Appliances from York (x2), Northallerton and Acomb attended incidents involving automatic fire alarms across county. These were all found to be false alarms.
